Event Details from Pete Dady and Shawn Forney

[02/08/2010 16:05] Winter enthusiasts: Day 1 will be on a new map of Morgan Hill State Forest. Day 2 will be at Highland Forest. We have a slight change in format: Day 1 will be 8 hours (08:30-16:30) while Day 2 will be 6 hours (09:00-15:00). The total is still 14 hours.

The Morgan Hill map is larger in area than Highland Forest and it will allow an earlier return for those coming from afar. We shall have more specifics posted on this web site shortly.

We have snow now, albeit a bit thin. More snow is expected this week.If you are in need of lodging, we would recommend the Best Western in Tully, NY, as the closest to both days. Cortland, NY, would be your second choice; it's not as close as Tully, but there are more lodging options.

Remember this is a team event; see the entry form for details. If you're unsure about doing two days, try one day or even a portion of one day. If you are interested, e-mail either of us (Pete Dady: dady @ toast.net; Shawn Forney: sxf36 @ hotmail.com) so we can print maps and come up with a cost.

You have another week to register before late fees are in effect. THINK SNOW!
