Directions to Flatrocks meeting point:
From the north: Take I-81 south to Cortland, then 281 to Rt 13 south. Turn right with Rt 13 in Dryden, pass jct with NY 366 on the right, then NYSEG on the left. Turn left onto NY 366 at the next traffic light. If you head downhill and cross a creek on Rt 13, you've gone too far. Follow 366 through Varna, then just before the road goes up the hill turn north (right) onto Forest Home Drive. Pass a trailer park on the right, go through some woods, bend left around a curve and emerge into more open space. Pass the "Water Supply, No Trespassing" parking lot on the right and park at either of the next two parking areas on the right.
From the south: Take NY 366 east past Cornell, and go down the big hill into Varna. At the foot of the hill, turn left onto Forest Home Drive and proceed as above.
On foot from Cornell: Walk up Tower Road east toward the Vet School. Enter the plaza in front of the Vet library and cut left across the grass. Go behind the building and pick up the road to the north. Follow the road, crossing Comstock Rd and continuing on into the west Plantations. Continue to follow the road up and then down a hill; turn left just before the house. Follow this road down to Forest Home drive, cross it, turn right, and walk to the parking area with the O signs on your left, along the creek.
