I want to thank all the folks who put aside their doubts about the skiing conditions and made the trip to Hammond Hill Saturday. I think the general consensus was that although the trails got progressively sloppier as the day wore on, they were still very skiable. Or snowshoeable, as the case was for two brave shoers who took on the short course! It was very gratifying to me as course setter, seeing people comparing notes as to what route choices they took. I set courses with what I hoped would be challenging choices, and from listening to the rehashes afterwards, I think my efforts were successful. People went in every direction, and the times they posted really came close to each other despite these differences!
Thanks again to all who came and made my day for me = !!
