Wed 9 Jun Camp Barton Directions

DIRECTIONS :

Take your best route to NY Rt. 89, on the west side of Cayuga Lake. About 1 mile north of the main Taughannock Falls State Park entrance are the two ends of Frontenac Road, making a loop east toward the lake. The northern end, at the north edge of the road bridge over Frontenac Creek, is paved all the way down; you can opt for the southern end if you don't mind driving a dirt track. Starts will be at the Camp Barton entrance at the bottom of the loop- it has an archway dedicated to Louis Agassiz Fuertes over its driveway. Bring a plastic bag along if you think about it--the map is ink-jet output and not robust against wetness!
