CNYO Wednesday Evening Training Meet
12 July 2000 Cornell Plantations

Map:
Cornell Plantations.

Format: I am going to try a slightly different format which leaves a relatively minimal amount of pre-event preparation for me. It's going to be sort of a "What's Wrong With This Map" exercise. You will have about ten places circled on the old Plantations map to visit in any order, and will be expected to indicate, with a pen or pencil you carry with you, a feature which needs to be added, or removed, or modified in the way which it is drawn. No flags will be hung.

Instruction: If you're new to this and/or want instruction, tell the meet director and he'll buttonhole a CNYO member to help you out. The map needs updating, so not all features on the map are on the ground, and vice versa. This may make it challenging for unaccompanied beginners.

Fees: Usual $2 per map weeknight training fee applies; no member discounts.

Starts: We will meet at the western of the parking lots along Fall Creek at Flat Rock. Starts between 6 and 6:30.

Directions:
From NYS Rt 366 just East of Cornell University campus, turn North at the traffic light onto Caldwell Rd, then right (East) onto Forest Home Drive at the stop sign before the first (easternmost) one-lane bridge. Left into first parking area, near the Plantations entrance gate.
